Requirement mapping

Which loads should be automated, which should stay manual, and what you actually want to happen: scenes, schedules, occupancy, or simply seeing where the units go.

Circuit & control design

Control is designed into the circuit layout, not bolted onto it. Switched circuits, neutral availability at the point, control wiring routes and load centre provision are all fixed at design stage.

Installation & commissioning

Devices installed, addressed and commissioned against the design. Energy monitoring is configured so consumption is visible per circuit, not just as one number on a bill.

Training & handover

We hand over the documentation and teach you to operate, reconfigure and troubleshoot the system. An informed owner is the best first responder.

Lighting

Internal, façade and landscape circuits on schedules, scenes or occupancy, the loads most often left running for hours with nobody in the room.

Climate & ventilation

Air conditioning, fans and exhaust controlled against schedule and occupancy so cooling stops when the room empties.

Pumps & heavy loads

Water pumps, heaters and other high-draw appliances switched intelligently, including shifting them into daylight hours where solar generation is available.

Energy monitoring

Circuit-level visibility of what is actually consuming power. Automation without measurement is decoration: the monitoring is what makes the savings provable.

Common Questions

Before you ask

Can automation be added to a house that is already built?

Often yes, but what is possible depends on your existing wiring, particularly whether there is a neutral at the switch point and whether circuits are split usefully. We survey first and tell you honestly what can be retrofitted and what would need rewiring.

Will it still work if the internet goes down?

This is exactly why we design control into the electrical layer. Your switches remain switches and the circuits keep working; what you lose is remote access and scheduling, not the lights.

Does it actually reduce the bill?

It reduces waste: loads running when nobody needs them. How much that is worth depends entirely on your current habits and tariff, which is why we include circuit-level energy monitoring rather than quoting a savings percentage we cannot stand behind.

Can it work together with a solar plant?

Yes, and it is one of the better reasons to do both. Shifting flexible loads such as pumps and water heating into peak generation hours means more of what you generate is consumed on site instead of exported.

Who maintains it afterwards?

We do, under the same annual maintenance plans that cover our electrical and solar work, one point of contact for the whole system.
