01 / Design

Designed with precision

From solar PV systems to complete electrical infrastructure, Augzet delivers engineering solutions backed by detailed design, technical documentation and disciplined execution. Every project is engineered to perform efficiently today and remain reliable, maintainable and adaptable for years to come.

An Augzet-built distribution board: energy meter, monitoring gateway, MCBs, RCBOs, surge protection and current transformers, wired and labelled inside a weatherproof enclosure.

Engineering, not guesswork

An electrical system without drawings is a liability wired into your walls. Augzet designs every circuit on paper first: load calculations, cable sizing, protection coordination and layout drawings that stay with the building for its lifetime.

What the package includes

  • Load study and demand assessment
  • 2D electrical layout sketches and single-line diagrams
  • Cable routing, earthing and protection design
  • Detailed documentation for future maintenance and upgrades
  • Coordination with architects and civil contractors

Design that anticipates tomorrow

Because our designs are software-based and fully documented, future upgrades (a solar plant, an EV charger, an automation layer) bolt onto a known system instead of an unknown one. That is the quiet economics of good design.

How It Runs

From site visit to signed drawing set

01

Site visit & load study

We walk the site, list every load you have and every load you intend to add, and build a demand assessment with diversity factors applied, not a rule-of-thumb multiplier.

02

Cable sizing & protection design

Conductor sizing against current capacity, voltage drop and short-circuit withstand. Protective devices selected and coordinated so the nearest device trips first, and earthing designed rather than assumed.

03

Drawings & documentation

2D layout sketches, single-line diagrams, panel schedules and cable routing, coordinated with your architect and civil contractor before anyone cuts a chase.

04

Review, approval & handover

You approve the design before work starts, and receive the full set at handover. Supervision of the installation is available under a KSEB Supervisor License held in-house.

Where It Applies

Who this is for

01

New homes under construction

The cheapest time to design an electrical system is before the walls close. Points, circuits, load centres and provision for future solar, EV charging and automation, fixed on paper while changes still cost nothing.

02

Commercial & retail fit-outs

Three-phase distribution, metering, load balancing and protection coordination for shops, offices and showrooms, designed around your actual operating hours and connected load.

03

Rewiring an older building

Buildings that have been extended circuit by circuit for twenty years. We survey what is actually there, document it, and design a safe replacement you can maintain.

04

Preparing for solar or automation

Adding generation or IoT control to an undocumented system is where budgets go wrong. Design the electrical layer first and the rest bolts onto a known system.

Common Questions

Before you ask

Do I need an electrical design if I already have an electrician?

An electrician installs; a design decides what should be installed. The design is what tells you the cable size is right for the run, that the protection will actually trip, and what is behind the wall in ten years. Many of our clients bring their own contractor and use us for the design and supervision.

What exactly do I receive at the end?

A load study and demand assessment, 2D electrical layout drawings, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, cable routing and earthing details, plus the documentation set for future maintenance. It is yours to keep and to hand to any future contractor.

Can you work alongside my architect and civil contractor?

Yes. Coordination with architects and civil contractors is part of the package. Getting the electrical design into the drawing set early is what prevents conduit clashes and last-minute chasing of finished walls.

Are you licensed to supervise the installation in Kerala?

Yes. A Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board Supervisor License is held on our founding team: the statutory qualification for supervising electrical installation work in the state.

Does the design cover future solar or EV charging?

If you tell us it is coming, yes. We provision the load centre, spare ways and cable routes at design stage, which is dramatically cheaper than retrofitting them later.
